Throughout the valleys there are these mud pits that, in the spring turn into cesspools of urine and faces. Unlike the rest of the valley though, which dry up by late spring, these mud pits lasts long into the summer and become a problem again every time it rains, and you have to bathe your dog every time you go to the park. It seems to me that now would be the perfect time to deal with these pits, BEFORE the first snow. My guess is that there are six to ten of these cess pools in the park, and not only are they gross, but they are also dangerously unhygienic, and not just for dogs. Often dogs defecate in there, but small children play in the mud and runoff, and I have seen more than one toddler fall face first in the scum.
